A site survey provides for measurement and analysis of a site by a certified radio technician, trained in network design, to determine the equipment locations required to ensure radio coverage in areas desired. A site survey results in a detailed specification addressing network design, equipment placement, power considerations, and wiring requirements for a specific site that serves as a guide for installing and verifying the wireless communication infrastructure and enables that work to be quoted.

A formal site survey will indicate the specific number of devices required to completely covering your facilities, and the recommended installation plan for each device. The site survey enables Viascan to guarantee 100% facility coverage. If, for whatever reason, there is a problem with coverage, it is Viascan’ responsibility to immediately initiate corrective action at our expense.
Response Time/Throughput Guarantee
Viascan will guarantee sub-second RF response time. The RF response time includes all parts of the round trip RF transaction originating at the terminal, but does not include host communications, network delays or host processing time. Viascan is the only RF vendor in the industry with the technology and confidence to offer this guarantee. This guarantee applies to both narrow band and spread spectrum radios.
Interference-Free Guarantee
We guarantee your system to be interference free. Other RF transmissions will not interrupt your Viascan system, or we will modify the system parameters or equipment within 24 hours to eliminate the interruption. This is done at no expense to your company.
